This site aims at the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, level AA. If something here gets in your way, tell me and I will fix it.

What is in place

• Every photograph carries a written description of what is actually in the frame, not a filename or a keyword list.
• A skip link, one main landmark, and headings in order on every page, so screen reader users can move by structure.
• Full keyboard operation. The menu, the photograph viewer and the form all work without a mouse, and the focus outline is always visible.
• The photograph viewer is a native dialog, so focus stays inside it and the Escape key closes it. Arrow keys move between images.
• Text and background colors were checked for contrast. Body text and links clear 4.5 to 1, photograph captions and the small gold labels clear 5 to 1, and the gold used on dark panels clears 7 to 1.
• Text reflows to a single column and stays readable when zoomed to 200 percent or more.
• Animation and scrolling effects switch off when your system asks for reduced motion.
• Touch targets are at least 44 pixels tall. Form fields have real labels, error messages that get announced rather than only shown, and a status region that reports what happened.
• Nothing important is conveyed by color alone, and there is no automatically moving content that cannot be stopped.

Where it falls short

• The Facebook timeline is Facebook's code sitting inside a frame on my page. I cannot reach in and fix it. Everything the feed shows is also on the Facebook page itself, and the link beside the frame goes there.
• Client galleries are hosted on ShootProof and follow their accessibility, not mine. If a gallery gives you trouble, contact me and I will send the photographs another way.
• The 2026 events roadmap is a graphic with words inside it. Everything printed on it is written into the image description, and the same dates, places and links are listed as ordinary text on the Route 66 page.
